We have been consigned by our client to sell this 1974 Left hand drive Alfa GTV.
This a genuine restoration project and a good project for someone looking for a very good solid car.
The Alfa’s condition is good yet in need of restoration. The body work paint has suffered from many years of storage and mild surface rust has appeared to a few panels. The lower seal, lower door and the bonnet along with a few minor areas having minor rust. The bodywork is generally rust free and solid.
The under chassis is solid and rust free and the mechanical side is surprisingly good. The car starts and drive superbly, engine runs lovely and a smooth gear change with the brakes all working as they should.
As you can see from the pictures the interior is in good condition with little cosmetic’s to report. The dash has some cracking and a small tear to one seat.
The Alfa was imported by Mr Howes in 2010. Mot was put on the car however was not registered. Then sold to Mr Difranceco who also didn’t register the car, he sold to Mr John Harrison an airline pilot in 2013. Present owner purchased from John in 2021 An avid car collector who had stored for 10 Years in his heated storage unit. The car was in good order for a mild restoration with no rot to the 105 Areas they suffer other than the mild surface rust we can see today. When purchased by present owner the car was recommissioned and Tanworth garage having a new radiator fuel tank and exhaust Injector system was then replaced with carburettor’s by Cloverleaf Alfa specialist in Gloucester hence the car runs beautifully. The Alfa is now registered and the registration number is LFM 804N
