We have been consigned by our client to sell this lovely example of the W108 280 SE. Superbly finished in cream with lots of chrome detail. 

The interior is completed in red with red carpets to black dash surround all detailed with wood panelling. 

The Mercedes is presented in lovely condition both inside and out. A few minor cosmetics to the paintwork being a very minor chip to the door edge and the lower drivers door has minor surface rust bubble’s that hasn’t breached the paint. The underside is solid and rust proofed. The engine runs superbly and the car is a lovely drive.

The present owner has cherished and had many items addressed as listed below.
Originally imported from South Africa in 2002, it had an extensive restoration in the UK and a full MB main dealer respray in 2006, the body work is still very good. I have made many improvements to the car including:
Re-fitting original mechanical fuel pump - Rear seat belts fitted - Refurbished fuel tank - Rebuilt prop shaft - Fitted with 123 electronic ignition - The Interior was re-trimmed in red leather in South Africa and is still in lovely condition.
Re-furbished Becker radio with audio line in for use with an iPhone.
Power steering rebuilt in 2014.
Article on car in a classic car newspaper and classic car magazine cover shoot that is present with a large history file. The file also includes letters from previous owners in South Africa and import details.

The car is registered with the DVLA and is Tax exempt.

My client purchased the car in 2012, mainly due to its stylish looks and solid engineering. Since owning the car he has been on many road trips, including regular visits to the Goodwood revival and other classic car shows. In 2014 the car was featured in Classic Car magazine and was used in a night time photo shoot in Bristol.
