We have been commissioned by one of our customers to sell this superb example of the very rare Renault 5 Gordini.
Finished in silver with black bumpers and detailing, completed with high polished alloy wheels making for a superb looking hot hatch.
The interior has been completed in orange that is in fact very striking and attractive complimented with black dash surround.
The Gordini has a huge file of paperwork and has had some serous decommission and restoration work as follows.

Renault 5 Gordini (Alpine) YHK 813X
Known as the Renault 5 Alpine in Continental Europe, the Gordini was one of the first generation hot hatches, predating the Golf GTi by a year.
Only marketed as the ‘Gordini’ in the UK because of the Talbot Alpine,
This is a genuine 1223 Gordini
The D.V.L.A records are showing 2 cars with tax and 3 SORN.
The mileage is 87030.
6 owners from new, originally sold by Renault dealer James Barr and Son, Chelmsford Essex 01.10.81
2015/16, the car has undergone extensive re-commissioning with the following parts –
Rear suspension bushes,
Rear wheel bearings,
Rear wheel cylinders,
Rear brake shoes,
Front disc’s and pads,
Front brake callipers,
Bottom ball joints,
Brake master cylinder,
All flexible brake pipes have been replaced with Earls braided items,
All metal brake pipes replaced.
All four shock absorbers have been replaced with AVO adjustable items.
All fuel lines replaced from the tank to the carburettor.
The fuel tank has been sealed with POR 15 tank sealer.
A new complete fabricated stainless steel exhaust is fitted.
The wheels have been refurbished and fitted with new tyres.
The gearbox has been overhauled with various new parts including diff bearings, selector forks and seals
The engine has also been rebuilt with meticulous attention to detail, blueprinted, balanced, lightened, gas flowed cylinder head, timed in camshaft etc., by the previous owner who worked for Ilmore racing.
A new clutch kit is fitted.
The carburettor is a new Weber 32/36 jetted to suit.
The ignition system is M.S.D digital with M.S.D Blaster coil; the points have been replaced with an electronic pickup.
I have the original air filter box and carb in take
The interior of the car is in original excellent condition
The exterior of the car has received a full bare metal re-spray in the correct Silver 620 colour code and fitted with new Renault doors and genuine Renault front wings complete with original decals
The radio cassette and hand lamp are original ‘Boutique’ equipment as fitted from new.
I have receipts and history files going back many years in two thick folders, along with many photos including the restoration.
A very well presented car that has had a good restoration.
The Gordini comes with a large folder of history photos and information.
