BMW M3 CSL
We are very pleased to offer for sale this superb example of the BMW M3 CSL. Finished in Silver Grey metallic, detailed with carbon fibre and original CSL alloy wheels. A superb looking Motorsport-derived BMW. The interior has been completed with charcoal grey alcantara motorsport seats, black dash surround with carbon fibre door cards and alcantara steering wheel.
The CSL was produced in limited numbers, available only in Silver Grey or Sapphire Black. The CSL has many weight-saving changes over the standard BMW M3. This included a carbon roof, removed sound insulation plus fibreglass front and rear seats. The CSL’s unique body pieces are all crafted from carbon fibre. The standard rear window was replaced with one made from thinner glass.
The entire suspension system was refined along with specially-developed suspension springs and dampers. The braking system was improved with larger front floating rotors and larger pistons in the rear callipers. The CSL was given a retuned dynamic stability control system with an "M" track mode. The engine was also improved with more BHP by changing the air intake and exhaust manifold, along with sharper profile camshafts and re-engineered valves.
This is a lovely example of the BMW M3 CSL with just three owners from new. This CSL has been cherished and correctly maintained throughout its life. Always dry-stored, this an excellent example for the collector or serous enthusiast.
